Further Updates on the Yakima Bigfoot Round-Up 2014 from Tom Yamarone

Hi everybody,

Greetings friends of the Yakima Bigfoot Round-Up! Hope your summer is going well.

There is no news as of today to report regarding a host hotel or our banquet. And that's OK. Everything is  locked in as far as our primary speaking line-up and event dates and time.s
Items not locked in:  a large group screening of the film "Willow Creek" - waiting to hear back from the director regarding the details. And John Mionczynski speaking on Sunday. He will be attending the event, but I had not broached the subject of his presentation prior to the distribution of the tentative agenda. We will speak when he is out of the mountains in early August. :-)   And so it goes...

It works for me to update you after returning from my trip to Oregon next weekend that includes a stop-over in Yakima. At that time, I will have discussed our banquet menu with the caterer, photographed the event location and chosen a host hotel.  Once I've returned to California on Tuesday, July 29th, I will email you all Wed or Thursday.  I plan to take payments by check - Paypal will be an option, too - between August 10th and September 10th. That period will be sufficient and will allow me to ensure all costs are detailed prior to payment.

Everything looks great for this to be another one-of-a-kind gathering like we had in 2009. Our goal for this Round-Up is for there to be a few excellent presentations and plenty of time to interact in a relaxed, social setting. And, of course, a wonderful banquet on Saturday night followed by tributes to Bob Gimlin, Roger Patterson, Jerry Crew and Al Hodgson. Sunday's lecture series was added to benefit the museum but as that gets finalized, it may be an excellent set of talks for an extra $15.

For now, enjoy your weekend. Don't hesitate to email or call with any questions.
take care,

P.S. Also the Sasquatch Revealed exhibit is on display until early December.  The Yakima Valley Museum has done an excellent job with the exhibit and it is very impressive.  Here are a few photographs I took in April.
